Bilib na Bilib! War On drugs ni Pangulong Duterte nakatanggap ng Papuri at Paghanga sa isang International Journalist

Illegal drugs indeed is a serious problem worldwide. Aside from the fact that it deprives its users the sound mental capability to cognize the consequences of their actions hence resulting to barbaric behaviors, it is but a pure menace to the society and its trade has been the root of corruption in various countries including the Philippines.

In terrorism, drugs perform an intrinsic role as a brainwashing, conscience-depleting ingredient that basically explains why terrorists appear to be passive in carrying out  brutality and savagery.

It is this mind-altering substances that enables young terrorists men to have the vigor and physical stamina needed to accomplish their atrocities while at the same time hindering their cognition to the extent that morality, humanity, and conscience are incomprehensible.

Talking about this inevitable connection between terrorism and illegal drugs was International journalist and writer Adam Garrie of the international news blog Eurasia Future.

"It is the promise and delivery of mind altering drugs which pushes young people into terrorism, rather than mythical notions about an un-Islamic and un-Christian afterlife...It is no coincidence that many well known terrorists were fond of alcohol, prostitutes and so-called recreational drugs prior to committing their atrocities. Thus, terrorism is a geopolitical problem whose foot-soldiers are fuelled by dangerous drugs". Garrie wrote in one of his recently published articles.

Among the most common drugs consumed by terrorists, according to Garrie, were cocaine and Captagon. The latter takes a form of a pill whose effects are "more extreme" than cocaine, thereby "making its users capable of super-human violence while totally erasing what remains of a human conscience."

As a matter of fact, Garrie elaborated that terrorists prior to their rampage and brutality were basically believed to be under the influence of illegal drugs. But aside from IS affiliated groups like Daesh and Al-Qaeda, US mass shooters are also reported to be under the influence of natcotics before and after commiting their crimes. This includes Stephen Paddock, the man who committed the biggest mass shooting in US history last year in Las Vegas.

"With terrorist fighters taking drugs and with terrorist organisations profiting from the sale of drugs, one contemporary leader staands above the rest in both articulating the nature of the drug problem and taking concrete steps to stop it." Garrie asserted.

This man whom Garrie has been referring to is no other than Philippines' very own President Rodrigo Duterte.

"Today, Duterte is saving lives by tacking the drug problem at its core. It is no surprise therefore that some of the same neo-imperialist forces which killed Gaddafi, a notorious terrorist, are now trying to imprison Duterte due to their fear that he might expose the link between drugs and terrorism even more than he already has done." Garrie claimed commending the President's effective resolve to the drug problem.

"Duterte has made a brave stand in taking on not only local gangs and terrorist groups, but their Washington benefactors. Anyone who opposes terrorism, should stand with President Duterte, for it is only he who understands its most fundamental root cause." Garrie ended appreciatively.

  1. Thank you very much Mr. Adam Garrie for your intelligent analysis of President Duterte. This is the first that time that the Philippines has an incorruptible President that really has a good vision for our country. He has the will to do what he promised, courage to confront powerful and influential people, doesn’t care who will be offended of his policies as long as it is for the betterment of his people and country, dedication to his duties, vision to where he wants the country to be, understand the feelings and needs of his people, hard working despite his age and ailments, firm believer of the freedom of speech which oftentimes taken advantage by his detractors like Delimaw and asshole Trillanes, impatient when things he wants done are moving slowly and hate criminals but very caring to law abiding citizens, etc. This is the only President that truly represents the meaning of “My loyalty to my party and friends ends where my loyalty to my country begins”.
Unfortunately a few corrupt people doesn’t want the country to move forward because of their own political and personal interest and they do this by smearing the image of the country in the international community just to bring down the President.
