President Duterte Grants Cancer-Stricken Boy’s Wish To Meet Him In Person

Despite his very busy schedule, President Rodrigo Duterte found time to grant a 7-year-old cancer-stricken boy his wish, to finally meet the president in person, right at the Office of the President in the Malacanang Palace.

Aedan Pio Pascual – Malvar, a 7-year-old fan of the president, is suffering from a rare type of cancer called Chordoma, which attacks the bones and spine. In spite of his condition, he was able to give the president a painting that he painstakingly made as a present to his idol.

Soft Hearted President

In a Facebook post by SAP Bong Go, the special assistant reiterated the president’s soft spot for children, Especially those in need and ill-stricken, as the president vowed to help the young Aedan in his medications and medical expenses.

Open to All, Not Just For The Sick

According to SAP Bong Go, the outspoken president is willing and ready to help anyone who needs him, regardless of age, sex, or religion. They are always open to listen to everyone’s grievances and is willing to do whatever it takes to grant their requests.

The Facebook post garnered a lot of praises from the netizens, complimenting the president for having the time in spite of his busy schedule to grant a little sick boy’s request.
